As a former full-time litigator and appellate lawyer, Jill VanderPloeg brings a big picture perspective to her transactional work with banks, business owners, and commercial real estate investors. Jill’s legal practice now focuses primarily on commercial financing, general business, and commercial real estate transactions. Jill represents financial institutions in negotiating and documenting loan transactions, with an emphasis on commercial real estate and construction lending. Jill also serves as general corporate counsel to business clients, as well as handling commercial real estate and leasing transactions, and is experienced in trademark registration
Jill began practicing law in 1996 and is licensed in Texas and Colorado. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law where she served as General Editor of the Denver University Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In her free time, Jill enjoys raising and training horses.
